Daisy Communications can now offer customers 5GEE mobile plans.
Daisy Communications, the UK’s leading independent supplier of communications services to businesses, is one of twelve providers able to offer 5GEE mobile plans to businesses.
The UK’s first 5G mobile network promises to be alot faster than 4G, offering users increased capacity, blistering download speeds and almost instant mobile connectivity which will enable them to download large files within seconds.
To be able to benefit from 5G, users will need a 5G-enabled handset, such as the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G or OPPO Reno 5G. For now, it will only be available in the busiest parts of the UK.
Darren Goldsmith, General Manager of Mobile for Daisy Communications said: “Daisy has a long-standing partnership with EE and we’re excited to be able to offer our customers these exclusive 5G services.
“We’re passionate about being at the forefront of telecommunications and the launch of the 5G network is one of the biggest changes to the industry in the last decade.
“We can provide our customers with a number of 5G-ready, innovative handsets that will enable them to take advantage of 5G’s amazing capabilities.”
5G offers higher capacity, meaning that more devices can connect to the network at the same time without it slowing down. Customers using 5G will be able to have a perfect video call in the centre of Waterloo station at rush hour, without any buffering. An almost instant mobile connection is also one of the features of 5G and its low latency means buffering is a thing of the past.
EE has launched 5G in six of the UK’s major cities: London, Cardiff, Belfast, Edinburgh, Birmingham and Manchester.
Other cities including Bristol, Coventry, Glasgow, Hull, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Nottingham and Sheffield will also have 5G rolled-out throughout 2019.
